Currently professor in the Department of Life Sciences, University of Coimbra and, and researcher at the Centre for Functional Ecology.
Since 2001, developing research of invasive plants (ecology and impacts on soil and ecological chain associated with insect galls).
In parallel, dedicated to promoting this issue and supporting projects in management and control of invasive plants.
