Degree in Plant Biotechnology with specialization in Control of Gene Expression and Population Genetics.
Participated in several research projects at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência and the Instituto Superior de Agronomia.
He is currently teaching in the Coimbra Higher School of Agriculture where he teaches courses in the area of biology, and also in the area of Nature Tourism (Hiking, Environmental Interpretation), which has additional training.
For the project, he contributes expertise in environmental interpretation.
